PA Auditor General to Join Reichard for ‘Hanging with Chad’

HARRISBURG – Pennsylvania Auditor General Tim Defoor will join Rep. Chad Reichard (R-Franklin) at his monthly Hanging with Chad event in Waynesboro.

“Since taking office in 2021, Tim has been a great asset in state government, working to hold receivers of taxpayer dollars accountable,” Reichard said. “It will be great to have him in the district to meet with residents and explain more about the important work he and his office do.”

The Hanging with Chad event runs from 9 a.m. to noon on Friday, Aug. 15, at the Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce, 118 Walnut St., #111, in Waynesboro. Defoor’s portion will begin at 10 a.m. Residents can meet with Reichard prior to DeFoor’s presentation to raise state-related issues and discuss how state government can better work for them.

“I’m excited to share with everyone the important work we do on behalf of taxpayers, and our vision for the future,” DeFoor said. “I appreciate all the time and effort that Rep. Reichard and his team have put into making this event happen. It is going to be a great morning, and I encourage everyone to attend.”

DeFoor’s visit is part of his “Be Audit $mart” tour, during which he will discuss what his office does, who he is and is capped off with a question-and-answer session.

The monthly Hanging with Chad events are held from 9 a.m. to noon on the third Friday of the month at the Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce, 118 Walnut St., #111, in Waynesboro. Residents unable to attend can call Reichard’s office at 717-749-7384 to set up an appointment.
