Antrim Township Receives More Than $500,000 For Traffic Signal Improvements, Reichard Says

HARRISBURG – Rep. Chad Reichard (R-Franklin) today announced that Antrim Township will receive more than $500,000 through Pennsylvania’s Green Light-Go Program, which aims to upgrade existing traffic safety infrastructure.

The Green Light-Go Program provides reimbursement grants to municipalities for projects that enhance safety, reduce congestion and keep traffic moving efficiently. This program is administered by the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

“Keeping our roadways safe and efficient is essential to protecting our communities. These improvements will protect our drivers while positioning the township to meet future transportation needs. I’m grateful to see this investment being made in our region,” said Reichard.

The funding will support traffic signal modernization and safety improvements at the following intersections:

• Buchanan Trail East (Pa. 16) and Grindstone Hill Road.
• Buchanan Trail East (Pa. 16)/Antrim Church Road/John Wayne Drive.
• Molly Pitcher Highway (U.S. 11)/Comfort Inn Driveway/I-81 northbound off ramp.
• Buchanan Trail East (Pa. 16) and I-81 southbound off/on ramps.
• Buchanan Trail East (Pa. 16) and I-81 northbound off/on ramps.
• Molly Pitcher Highway (U.S. 11)/Antrim Commons Drive/I-81 southbound off/on ramps.
