HARRISBURG – Newly elected Rep. Chad Reichard (R-Franklin) took the oath of office today to formally kick off his first term in office.
“It is truly an honor to humbly serve as the representative for the area I have called home my entire life,” Reichard said. “I cannot thank the people of the district enough for putting faith in me to serve as their voice in Harrisburg.
“I pledge to bring to the Capitol the views and values that were instilled in me by my family, friends and neighbors from our community,” he continued. “Recognizing there will be challenges ahead, I will stand by our principles while working to bridge the gap to move our Republican agenda forward.”
Since winning the election in November, Reichard has been meeting with constituents, providing services to residents and meeting with area school students visiting the Capitol. To better get to know more people in the district, Reichard will hold an Open House at his office, located at 1402 E. Main St. in Waynesboro, on Thursday, Jan. 16, from 4-6 p.m. The public is encouraged to attend to meet Reichard and his staff. Light refreshments will be served.
The 90th Legislative District includes Waynesboro, Greencastle, Mount Alto and Mercersburg, as well as Washington, Quincy, Antrim, Montgomery, Peters and Warren townships.
